I am originally from Munich, Germany, living in beautiful Florida since 1998.
Inspired by nature and cultural diversity I love to express myself through painting and drawing since I was a young teenager.
I am a self-taught artist, influenced and inspired by the French Impressionist era.
I started my professional life as a department store decorator which led me to the path of art. During my recent stay in Bavaria for one year I discovered many great painters from the very county I come from.
Art is an exciting journey for me which brings happiness and freedom into my life.
I enjoy sharing my ideas and feelings through painting and I hope my art lifts your spirits and makes you smile!
Most of my paintings are acrylic on canvas. A brush stroke against the canvas has an essential and traditional feel to it.
I do experiment with pastels and water color sometimes which enriches my skills.
I am happy and proud to say that I recently became a member of the beautiful Quayside Art Gallery in historic downtown Pensacola where my paintings are shown now. Quayside is one of the oldest and largest member-owned galleries in the United States with over one hundred members form an radius of 60 miles. Concentrated local creativity!
My artwork has been selling all over the world, including Germany, Belgium, the UK, Australia and the United States.
I am also an enthusiastic Yoga Instructor and teach weekly Yoga classes in my community.
